Last week, we brought you shots of the Fall/Winter 2008 line of JB lassics’ Prime Label. They got a bit uppity, associating themselves with he peace symbol and recognizing its 50th anniversary as inspiration for his collection. It might turn out to be an apt association, though — if we can all cop pairs of their stellar new designs, I doubt anyone’d be mad enough to raise another fist.
Here we see the latest iteration of Getlos, the “Navies Bight” edition. No one knows what that means, and if you don’t believe me, try googling ‘Navies Bight” — let me know what you find 😉
It really doesn’t matter though; these are further evidence of the brand’s sharp eye for retooling reliable old sneaker designs. This pair is like the others in the collection, toned down compared to past JB releases. The upper is mostly grey leather, with the side panel adding peforations. The quarter panel is also grey, and features an embossed pattern that might seem familiar. Add a green perfed toebox and tongue, purple laces and lining, and extra white laces to match the ankle — put that all atop a white midsole which itself rests upon a royal blue outsole and you’ve got an interesting look for the upcoming season.
We’re still waiting on a release date, and we anticipate these to hit JB accounts before the holiday season hits full swing. There’s another angle after the jump if you don’t wanna wait for Santa. Thanks for the pics, which came straight from the horse’s mouth.
