We’ve been aware of the Solebox collaboration with Puma since last October, and though a video previewing what would be the key feature surfaced in December, no pictures have been leaked confirming the flashing laces. With the new shots today, we have a better look at what to expect from the April 18th release, but still no visuals on those LA-gear like shoestrings. Whether this is a masterful job of viral marketing the Puma R698 or just an axed component remains to be seen, but the same electric blue that lit up those aforementioned laces runs the length of the sole. This leads us to believe that the laces are in for the long haul, but you’ll have to check back with Sneaker News for more info as the release approaches. Via NiceKicks
