Nike made several shoes in honour of Jackie Robinson’s culture-shifting Major League Baseball debut. Just as Jackie did back in 1947, a pack of Blazers ‘broke the colour barrier’ by blurring the lines around that shoe’s Swoosh. Another, more modern look from Beaverton came in the form of a special colourway of the Nike Air Max Griffey Swingman Remix. The Kid’s signature sneaker had Jackie’s special date sewn into the insole, but we didn’t know when or if they were going to release. Without too much buildup, these have been released at select Nike dealers for a bargain price of just $95. Take a look at more pics after the jump and let us know if you find ’em near you. Thanks Tranandco
