To the world of pop culture, Samantha Ronson is known as a famed DJ/ Songwriter, younger sister to Grammy-winning producer Mark Ronson, and of course- her tabloid inducing relationship with Lindsay Lohan. But unbeknownst to many in the sneaker community, Ronson has been a friend and supporter of Supra since the beginning of the brand. Low and behold, Supra has asked her to create a exclusive colorway for the Supra Indy for the Fall 2009 collection. The Indy will feature black distressed leather with gold leather as an accent.
To celebrate the collaboration, Supra will be throwing a release party this Saturday in Chicago. Though the party will not have the skate shoe for sale, there will be a DJ set by Sam herself, along with a performance by The GZA.
