Onward marches the Converse Dress Code 1/2 Collection, and this new design best typifies the spirit of the set so far. Is the Converse Trio CC a loafer? It has a comfy cup sole and we don’t typically see suede or canvas on penny kicks. Then again, the upper is clearly not your typical sneaker. But the colours also demand attention more than, say, brown or black. So you’ve got a classic design melded with a sneaker’s sole and materials, and you know Converse Japan is going to do them up in all sorts of crazy colourways. The three pictured above have already hit select retailers. via SM
