After the one-game playoff between Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Winthrop, the 2010 NCAA March Madness Tournament officially kicked off on Thursday. As usual, the First Round featured a number of bracket-busting upsets while the #1 seeds dominanted in each respective region. Aside from the gameplay, Sneaker News would like to focus on some of the kicks that were seen in on the college hardwood, and we’re excited that there was no upset at all.

The three colorways of the Patent Grey Leather LeBron VII made their debuts, while an oldie in the Air Zoom Generation made an unexpected appearance. Air Jordan held its own as well, as the Hare Jordan VII, Space Jam XI, a Melo M6 designed by a teen, and some great Team Jordan PEs were in play. There’s a lot more to be seen, so check out the collection of images summarizing the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, and stay tuned to Sneaker News as we will recap the kicks from each round of March Madness. via Yahoo!.
