Not long ago this original colorway of the Nike Air Max Uptempo 97 dropped, and the majority of the reader response read like something along the lines of “this brings back some great memories”. And it should; the Uptempo III came during Nike Basketball’s revamping, leaving behind the Force and adopting the wacky designs as well as the full-length Air Unit. The TPU “tear drops” are the takeaway message of this design, and the expected nostalgia that tugs at your childhood heart should induce some tear drops of joy (don’t be ashamed).
