Luckily for Air Max heads (and Nike), Hatfield stayed on and the Nike Air Max 1 born. In 1990, Hatfield introduced the Nike Air Max 90 in a dazzling white, grey, black, and Infrared colorway, better known as the Infrared Air Max 90. This new t-shirt is a testament to Hatfield’s against-the-grain ideals as he was truly “against the world”. Now, he runs it. This sick Air Max 90 Infrared tee is available is available in limited quantity exclusively at 21 Mercer, the Nike Sportswear store in lower Manhattan. If you still haven’t picked up your Infrareds yet, grab them now on eBay.
