A clear sign that ending the Cold War was best for everyone involved, here’s a new collaboration between a Russian-born artist and one of America’s iconic footwear brands. The SSUR x Converse Pro Leather 76 appears above with just a little crackled leather on the eyelets, instead mostly covered by some of the richest black nubuck we’ve seen in ages. With its side panels missing the typical star-chevron, these Pro Leather 76s reveal how much their design took after the 1974-born Nike Blazer. But that’s how it goes with great designs, and SSUR has added some golden touches to these to make them his very own. Check out more shots after the jump and grab a pair today from Haven.
