At this point everything on the adidas headlines reads “Jeremy Scott“, “Star Wars“, or “Originals by Originals” for the three stripe brand’s amazing collabs and capsule collections. But as we know, adidas started its empire with a group of classic runners, and today the adidas Mega Torsion runners – revamped versions of the classics – are put forth as a means to pay homage to the foundation of the adidas footwear brand as well as progress into continued relevance in design and urban culture. FreshnessMag recently sat down with Noah Bernard, Category Manager of adidas Originals Footwear, to discuss the direction of the brand, the concept behind Mega Torsion, and to simply chat sneakers.
