Converse First String Standard – Matchpoint III

The Converse First String Standard Collection features the brand’s most historic and time-honored silhouettes redone in premium fashion; take for example the leather-uppered heel-zippered Chuck Taylor that arrived during the Spring 2010 season. The latest of these releases comes in the form of the Matchpoint III, and original design from the ’70s, a former tennis star that is more than comfortable looking fresh on the streets. Both new colorways feature monochromatic poplin cotton uppers, cut-out stars on the leather heel, and a supremely confortable foot-bed cushion. The suede versions of the Matchpoint III was a hit in the lifestyle category so these new releases should fare no differently.
