Some time ago Sneaker News gave you a heads up on some upcoming Nike samples, one of which was a Black/Neon Green ‘Dunkman‘ colorway of the Griffey Max GD II. While that colorway has surfaced yet, here’s a look at the newly released Griffey II in a Black/Varsity Royal color-combination; the upper features tonal black leather while the Air Unit, bottom some, and logo treatment is in the vibrant tone of varsity blue. The color motif is very ‘Air Attack’ like – perhaps the inspiration behind this colorway and the Dunkman Griffey II sample – so we might expect even more tonal-black colorways with eye-catching secondary tones.
