The original configuration of the Nike Air Max 90 features durable suede on the upper, breathable suede on the toe and an easy-to-clean leather mudguard. This recipe has worked well for years, but here’s a new pair of AM90s that offers bizarro construction. With a nubuck mudguard and leather everywhere else, these Nineties are clearly crafted for the streets, and in the fashion sense, not so much for running. But they excel in the style department, with a Grove Green and Matte Silver mix bound to look fresh no matter the arrangement of materials or colorblocking.
