In mid-August Sneaker News gave you a look at an upcoming Air Griffey Max 1 in White, Black, Sport Red, and Metallic Silver – the same colorway Ken Griffey Jr. wore during the 2007 MLB All-Star Game. Courtesy of Chicago’s Succezz, here’s a look at a sample pair of the Air Griffey Max 1 ‘Cincinnati Reds’ that is currently set for a Spring 2011 release; the upper features a mix of sport red and white, with a black swoosh and strap, with black ‘eye-liner’ above the metallic silver Air Units on the midsole. Curious choice of number, as Griffey wore ’30’ during his Reds days, but the ’24’ stays for good on this pair. Take another look after the jump and let us know what you think of this colorway, and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike Griffey release info. via Modernnotoriety.
