Nike Air Penny 1/2 Cent ‘Eggplant’ – Available

Nike’s ‘Eggplant’ colorway took the world by storm in 2009, a look so lusted-after that not only did the Nike Air Foamposite One re-retro in the same shade this year, but there are a ton of satiny iridescent purple pairs on the way from Nike Sportswear.  Perhaps the ‘purest’ application of the Eggplant motif is on what many would agree was ’09’s best new hybrid model, the Nike Air 1/2 Cent.  Eggplant is right at home on the injected foam upper, where suede sections borrowed from the Penny II make for an unforgettably dark look.  Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at select NSW retailers like WestNYC or get yours now on eBay.
