Lucha Libre is more than just a regional style of wrestling, it’s a traditional activity of Mexico that goes back to the 1930’s that has permeated American pop-culture. With top American pro-wrestling stars and even feature comedy films surrounding “Free Wrestling”, Lucha Libre is celebrated nationwide – and serves as the basis for this custom pair of Nike Dunk Highs.
Of course, a Lucha Libre Pack was done by Nike back in 2006, but none of those three releases rival the detail of this custom pair. C2Customs is responsible for this work of art, as it uses red and white stars and stripes with a carnival font on the heel that reads the name of the person who requested this great custom concept, but it’s the altered tongue, shaped and cut out to appear like a Lucha Libre mask, that puts this custom near the top.
