Nike Air Foamposite Pro – Unreleased Penny Hardaway PE

Nike Air Foamposite Pro Knicks Unknown Pe 07

Going back almost to the original release of Foamposite and the introduction of personalized Player Exclusive basketball shoes, there has to be hundreds upon hundreds of Nike Basketball PEs that never saw the light of day for any possible reason. The colors didn’t match, the player didn’t like them, your guess is as good as any other. Here’s a look at a curious pair of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro; at the outset you might thing these are nothing more than a pair of Pearl Foams – but this particular pair features an orange swoosh border on the heel and an orange swoosh on the bottom sole, with a blue stripe on the heel tab.

The color-combo being that of the trademark Knicks uniforms, one might guess these are an Allan Houston PE, considering Houston wore a PE of the Nike Flightposite 1 in the same ‘Pearl’ upper with the orange swoosh border. However, this Foamposite Pro features Penny Hardaway’s One-Cent logo on the tongue, which could also mean these were meant for Penny during his short stint on the Knicks – although the Foamposite Pro wasn’t his shoe. So while it is unclear as to whom this PE was destined for, it certainly is one of the more thought-provoking pairs we’ve ever seen. Continue reading for a closer look and let us know for whom you think this PE was made for. via NT.
