“Wanna be a co-founder of the greatest sneaker collection the world has ever seen?”

All it takes is one look at WDYWT on Sneaker News to realize our readers have tastes every bit as wide as the catalog of available footwear.  And what if there were a place where you could show off your wares and help build a sneaker database the likes of which the world has never seen?  That place is Sneakerpedia, powered by Foot Locker, a new web project that’s just announced its beta period.  This project isn’t about gathering together to buy/sell/trade, but rather create the world’s largest compendium of sneaker data that you’ll be able to upload, tag and search based on a nearly unlimited set of criteria.  The teaser video you can see in full by clicking the jump below warns, “Joining the exclusive Sneakerpedia Beta Club will positively deepen your obsession,” and that’s a risk we’d love to take.
