With prices of sneakers reaching an all-time high these days, Nike did what it could to appeal to those who weren’t exactly willing to drop $200+ for a pair of kicks. During the Foamposite mania that was the year of 2010, Nike introduced the Air Max Wavy, which emulated the satiny Foamposite look but opted for a less expensive material. A plethora of colorways like Royal, Copper, Metallic Silver, Cranberry, *insert Foamposite colorway here* were released at a great price of under $100. Here’s a look at an unreleased colorway of black, purple, and red – a ‘Raptors’ combo. The upper features a tonal black upper with a Raptors trim around the midsole. The Air Max Wavy is a great option for its comfort – even some NBA ballers have worn ’em because they’re so cush on the feet.
