Back in the summer, Sneaker News showed you an adidas TS Heat Check that’d been modded out with Oryon Tech’s ELastolite to make its Three Stripes glow electric blue. It was a dope look and adidas has collaborated with Disney before, but the Mouse looks to have chosen the absolute perfect sneaker with which to officially promote the TRON prequel. The TRON: Legacy x Vans Sk8-Hi represents its namesake film’s signature light cycles with a bright blue stripe accenting an otherwise blacked-out design. Vans are no stranger to checkerboard designs, but the arena grid pattern is conspicuously absent, with metallic silver brought in on the sockliner where it might have naturally been placed.
