Sneakerpedia – London Launch Recap

A few weeks ago, we first learned about Sneakerpedia through a teaser video which asked the world wide sneaker community to be ready for “The greatest sneaker archiving project”. Last night, in London, the website held a launch party to celebrate the launch of the beta version of the site with a small group of the world’s biggest collectors and sneaker enthusiasts. The launch also brought out not only two of the biggest sneaker personalities in the world, but also two of the best DJ’s in the game, Bobbito Garcia and DJ Clark Kent. For set one, Bobbito set down the tone for the night, for set two, each took turns playing a record, and DJ Clark Kent closed the night off with a long set. We’ll quote an attendee at the event “DJ Clark Kent murdered London…” to best recap the energy of the party. London’s biggest sneakerheads were also in attendance, and all attendees were able to register for this beta launch.
