With the burning torch officially passed to Dwyane Wade, the Air Jordan 2010, although part of the Air Jordan Legacy, was considered to be Wade’s first signature shoe with the brand. The Air Jordan 2010 featured a groundbreaking design, featuring a gaping window on the upper that represented Jordan’s vision on the court, as he saw through the defense of his opponents to create the best vantage point of attack. Every year, one of the most highly anticipated new releases is the Air Jordan shoe, and here we have a first look at what could quite possibly be the Air Jordan 2011. This white/black colorway features a black mudguard of textured leather, with a white upper featuring a mesh underlayer and white leather panels. The white midsole is paired with a translucent outsole which features two flex-grooves at the forefoot and a hexagonal flex pattern on the heel.
The marquee design feature of the shoe is the inter-changeable insoles which feature a torsion plate embedded in the insole as well as Air cushioning. Logoin is evident primarily on three areas; the heel, which features a large Jumpman, the bottom sole, which features a Jumpman through the translucent sole, and a ’23’ on the tongue in a dotted Motorsports-like font. The design of the shoe itself is very simple – more luxurious than sporty – and draws inspiration from the Air Jordan XI.
