It doesn’t hurt to be the alma mater of one of the founders of Nike. Phil Knight was a track runner for the University of Oregon, and it was there that he partnered up with his coach Bill Bowerman to develop their own athletic footwear company (previously known as Blue Ribbon Sports. The rest is, as they say, ‘history’, and since then, Oregon’s been the recipient of some great PE colorways of Nike and Jordan shoes. For the 2011 BCS Championship Game, the University of Oregon wore special PE colorways of the Air Jordan IX, but here’s a look at what the Ducks in Oregon’s other big sport might rock in coming games – the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. It has a green/yellow colorway with the Oregon ‘O’ logo on the ankle collar. We’ve seen other college PEs of the Hyperfuse release at House of Hoops locations, so you might expect these to release sometime soon as well. Check out the extra shot after the jump and let us know what you think. via DuckBasketball.
