It would be nice to own a zillion pairs of Asics Gel Lyte IIIs. This May 2011, you’ll have that chance…sort of. Here’s a look at the Zillion x Asics Gel Lyte III, set for a May 2011 debut; for those of you unfamiliar with Zillion, it is a Japanese-based shoelace company that typically packages their fare in small wooden containers. In fact, you might even remember their Kimono-inspired laces of mid-2009, which featured plenty of vibrant and lively colors – a stark contrast to their rendition of the Asics Gel Lyte III. Featuring a tan/cream suede upper with white mesh and the Zillion logo stamped on the heel, the Zillion x Asics Gel Lyte III speaks just as many volumes with this clean and simple colorway.
