Hot on the heels of our latest look at the Air Max JR hybrid is this colorway borrowed from 2009’s initial Air Griffey Max 1 retro. Check out the Nike Air Griffey Max II (not to be confused with the Air Griffey Max GD II) in the ‘Fresh Water’ colorway that found the AGM1 leaving retail shelves as fast as they could be stocked. These joints feature a lockdown lacing system, carbon fiber heel counter and Max Air cushioning in the heel and forefoot. They’re not all that dissimilar to the original teal joints that will also retro later this year, so this begs the question, these or OGs? Click through to see more of the Fresh Water Griffey Max II and stick with Sneaker News for the exact release date, currently set for April.
