Michael Jordan’s ‘Black Cat’ moniker is certainly a recognizable one because Tinker Hatfield, when designing the Air Jordan XIII, likened Michael to a fierce black panther when conceptualizing the design of the shoe – and he wasn’t even aware of Michael’s ‘Black Cat’ nickname. We’ve seen the ‘Black Cat’ come alive in Air Jordan silhouettes like the Air Jordan III and Air Jordan IV, and the same can be seen in the Black/Dark Charcoal colorway of the Air Jordan 2011. Dwyane Wade debuted this colorway during a late-January match-up between the Miami Heat and New York Knicks, and Jordan fans instantly hailed this colorway as one of the best of the 2011 flagship. With a black patent leather used for the upper molded/pressed leather and a translucent outsole, this Air Jordan 2011 screams classic Air Jordan beauty. These are slated to release this Saturday, April 2nd, but you can grab one now from ice-sole on eBay.
