April 2nd, 2011 will mark several firsts. First day of April you don’t have to keep an eye out for friends pranking you, first in-person viewing of the adidas LQC Trainer and the first Sneaker Con outside of New York! No foolin’, Sneaker Con Washington D.C. will feature the debut of Three Stripes new LQC Trainer and today we have our first glimpse at this lowtop take on the basketball silhouette that came onto the scene at March’s Sneaker Con NYC. These joints look quite a bit less like the Supra Skytop; gone is the heel strap and over-the-ankle cut that drew such comparisons, and in its place, a silhouette much closer to the Air Jordan Alpha Trunner. The LQC Trainer is done in lightweight mesh and perforated synthetics, its grey/white/red colorup a suitable match for a wide variety of fits.
