The madness of March has come to a close, with the red-hot UConn Huskies stalling the Butler Bulldog momentum with a decisive 53-41 victory in the 2011 NCAA Mens Basketball National Championship Game. The Huskies were once again led by Kemba Walker, who gained full steam in the Big East tournament and provided the necessary spark to carry the team throughout the sudden-death tournament. Throughout the tournament, Walker channeled his inner MJ by wearing the Air Jordan 6-17-23 in the Black/Concord-Orion Blue colorway, culminating in a 16 point, 9 rebound performance to give UConn its first NCAA Mens Basketball title since 2004. The National Championship Game wraps up quite a year for NCAA Feet, as Sneaker News brought you an in-depth look at eight sneaker-crazed teams during the month of February, throwing out hypothetical match-ups to see which school had the better sneakers for the week. Continue reading for a nice recap of the Champsionship Game and congratulations once again to the University of Connecticut Mens Basketball team! via Yahoo!.
