Hailing from the port city in southwest France is the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’. Alright, so these aren’t exactly categorized as French imports, but for those who have no idea what ‘Bordeaux’ signifies (or have mistakenly pronounced ’em as ‘bore-docks’), Bordeaux refers to the color the rich red wine of the city, which happens to be epicenter of the wine industry. Bordeaux red is splashed around the upper accents, particularly the Jumpman as well as the ’23’ logo on the heel, but give credit to the Black/Light Graphite base for providing a nice canvas for the sultry color. April 16th is the day to cop ’em at Jordan Brand retailers, but of course, here’s an opportunity to avoid the lines and release-date mishaps – they’re available now on eBay.
