The growing frequency of unreleased SB Dunk samples hitting online auction sites has us wondering just how many more unreleased colorways there truly are. We recently showed you the ‘Distressed’ SB Dunks and the rumored ‘Purple Haze’ High (2009 4/20 release), but here’s a look at the Midwest Gold/Black colorway that was first previewed on Sneaker News in late 2009. It features a simple colorway of Red, Gold, and Black on the upper with a purple heel-tab and a solid black outsole. The thin tongue dates these as a 2009 release, until Nike SB shelved them for good. Slap ’em with a fat tongue and re-release, or a forgotten memory? Check out these new images below and if you’d like a pair, grab this rare size 9 sample (just one of twenty-four exist) from johnnyc2oo on eBay.
