Air Jordan V Retro Trial Sample White Black Red 01

Back in 2006, Jordan Brand re-issued the Air Jordan V, including some new colorways exclusively for women (although that didn’t stop some men from going 1.5 sizes up). The lone ‘mid’ version was the White/Fire Red-Sunset-Dark Cinder colorway, which featured an all-white leather upper while introducing some newbies to the Air Jordan Retro color palette. Was this unreleased trial product sample the original version? It shares the same product number as that women’s Air Jordan V, but we all know that this ‘trial’ version ended rather quickly. It does have too much resemblance to both the ‘Fire Red’ Air Jordan V as well as the OG White/Black/Red version, so it’s likely that Jordan Brand scrapped these in favor of another ‘Lifestyle’ colorway. The owner of this rare sample claims that ‘less than 3 pairs’ were made, so do the math! We’ve got more images for you below so take a look at let us know if you would’ve copped these if they had released. via SC.
