Miami’s Mr. R Sports has been serving South Beach sneakers since 1973, but the store has only recently come into national prominence thanks to a more aggressive internet presence. Mr. R is also among the official partners for the upcoming Sneaker Con Miami that takes place on July 30th, and this gave the store a chance to hook up with longtime Sneaker Con sponsor, adidas, on this 13-pair limited edition collaborative design. The Mr. R Sports x adidas Originals Superstar II avoids the cliche MIA pastels in favor of a simple orange-on-white design, plus the store’s winged logo on the lateral heels.
