Before Tim Duncan moved on over to adidas, he was a Nike fella, rockin’ some classics like the Nike Air Total Foamposite Max, which at the time featured some of Nike’s most advanced technology. It combined Tuned Air, which featured compartmentalized Max Air units with different pressure levels, and Foamposite technology. The Total Foams re-released back in 2006 with an MSRP of $160, and will hit stores once again later this year at a retail price of – wait for it – $225. The only other widely released Foamposite shoe to hit that pricepoint was the Nike Air Bakin’ Posite Boot, which also featured a Foamposite upper and full-length Max Air. Many of our readers were glad to see the Nike Air Total Foamposite Max return, but will the sky-high price turn people away? Air-randyhk has an advanced look at a sample pair of the upcoming Metallic Silver/Black colorway so check ’em out after the jump and let us know if you plan on copping these when they hit stores September 30th.
