Earlier this year, renowned artist Dave White collaborated with Jordan Brand to create a limited edition Air Jordan 1, plastered in all-American visuals and detailing in White’s signature styling. Created for the Jordan Brand WINGS For The Future program, the Dave White x Air Jordan 1 was the perfect embodiment of the American dream, exuding notes of patriotism, hope, and the revolutionary spirit that is the driving force of both American culture and the Air Jordan legacy. This Fall 2011 season, Dave White teams up with Jordan Brand once again; this time around, White focuses on the heritage of the Air Jordan Legacy, combining iconic detailing like elephant print and the classic red/black/white colorway with his signature brush strokes. These also feature a ‘WINGS For The Future’ label on the shoe laces and insoles, which may or may not signify another auction-style release, but let’s hope this time a limited release to the public occurs as well.
