Unlike Jordan Brand, Nike Basketball, and some Nike Sportswear releases, Nike Skateboarding isn’t exactly straightforward when it comes to its new products – even shoes that are considered ‘general releases’. Nike SB is in fact a tiny wing of the massive Beaverton, OR vessel, but it still manages to garner a ton of attention in the sneaker world. One of the biggest stories from Nike SB this year is the Entourage x Nike SB Dunk Low, a commemorative pair of the SB Dunk giving its props to one of the most culturally relevant television shows of the 21st century. It was originally slated to be a Friends and Family release, but rumors and tidbits of information began swirling around regarding a possible Quickstrike release with a release date bouncing around from August to October.
The latest news is that the Entourage x Nike SB Dunk Low will be a Black Friday release (alongside other predominantly black-colored shoes like the Air Jordan III Black/Cement and the Air Total Foamposite Max) and will be slightly altered for the release thanks to a purported gum outsole and gold contrast stitching. Still, nothing has been set in stone, so stick with Sneaker News for more updates regarding a release, and if you want to score yourself a pair right now, grab one now on eBay.
