The six-month-long Major League Baseball regular season is winding to a close, and as has been the case since they were apparently cursed by young Jeffrey Mayer’s interference in the 1996 American League Championship Series, the Baltimore Orioles have failed to secure a spot in the postseason. All is not lost for the Os, however, as starting pitcher Jeremy Guthrie has managed to win some cool points with the sneakerhead set.
