Suede. Rip-stop Nylon. Perforated leather. Classic mesh. Speckled midsoles. What a way to re-introduce the Nike Air 180 back onto Nike iD. The Nike Air 180 was a prominent member of the Air Max legacy, as it introduced the new 180-degree Max Air unit back in 1991. It followed the Air Classic BW and preceded the Air Max ST and the more well-known Air Max 93, which featured the huge Max-Air unit on the heel. That spelled the end of the 180-degree Air bubble, but this cult-classic also shares the same cushioning technology as a Nike Basketball classic known as the Nike Air Force 180. It’s an added treat that the Nike Air 180 is on Nike iD, because the Air 180 is an oft-overlooked Sportswear model in the states. Head to Nike iD now to iD your pair, and let us know what designs you come up with!
