Wu-Tang Clan OG Raekwon the Chef did some of his very best work on the ‘Purple Tape’ that guest starred self-proclaimed ‘Wally King’ Ghostface Killah, and two years after Cuban Linx Pt. 2, he’s linking up with New Balance and DJ Mars on a retrospective on the last two decades plus of sneakers and streetwear as part of Mars’ ‘History of Mixtapes’ project.
