At 10th in the all time Elo ratings he’s second only to teammate Shaquille O’Neal (7th) in terms of active players, which should put some perspective on how sure-fire of a Hall of Fame selection Kevin Garnett really is. Now one could rather convincingly argue that any system that puts LeBron James (16) and Garnett ahead of 4-time NBA Champion and perhaps the ultimate power forward Tim Duncan (18), but disputing KG’s decade and a half long run of excellence is impossible despite never getting his early Timberwolves teams past the Spurs and other Western Conference elite. Garnett got started in the Twin Cities and this game-worn, autographed pair of Nike Air Max Tempos from his 1995-96 season (the best ever for Nike Basketball?) is a great way to commemorate a long and decorated career with a reminder of where it began, so click through to see what they look like, then check out the size 14s available now from d_g.o.a.t on eBay.
