The first Flywire-equipped Converse sneakers are on the way soon, and it looks like that’s not the only Nike, Inc. innovation being shared across brand lines. It’s not just that the new Converse First String Straight Shooter Spec Hi looks like a cousin to the All Court with its asymmetrical toecap that connects these to the Swoosh, because they also have a LunarLon-cushioned sole for one of the nicest combinations of classic-turned-modern style and premium tech elements we’ve seen in the lifestyle market. The black and burgundy pairs are accented by white stitching to match the sole, a line that separates the mostly suede upper from a textile cutout and makes even more obvious how rich the former material really is. Check out both pairs after the jump and look for these at Converse First String retailers like Foot Patrol.
