Much of the Asics retro catalog has been out of the reach of American sneaker heads for a while now. Historically commanding much more attention across the pond, their line of Gel’s and the like will thankfully see an increased presence in the US come 2012. Of course that means we’ll be seeing plenty of the classic split-tongue Asics Gel Lyte III. We’ve got a quick preview of two pairs set for the Spring/Summer 2012 season that go hand in hand, coming in alternating black and white colorways. Along with the leather uppers are some nice canvas sections, a material that you don’t see too often on the Gel Lyte III.
