New Balance 574 – 2011 New York City Marathon

Black and yellow running shoes over the past decade or so have had a strong tendency to either be collaborative works of or compared to the LIVESTRONG x Nike capsule, but here’s one in support of a different kind of endurance.  The New Balance 574 2011 New York City Marathon edition goes for a bold high-contrast look with its classic mix of suede and mesh, yellow laces across a black eyestay and tongue a quick way of summing up the look of the whole pair.  The race is this Sunday, November 6th but no word yet on whether these’ll be a giveaway or otherwise distributed, so click through to see what they look like and check back with Sneaker News for updates.  via HS
