Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III ‘Leatherbacks’ – Detailed Images

Releasing tomorrow is the limited edition ‘Leatherbacks’ colorway of the Asics Gel Lyte III, exclusively at the new KITH retail shop in Lower Manhattan. Likely the final Asics x Ronnie Fieg collaboration of 2011, the Leatherbacks was first previewed over the summer and later beautified on the feet of model Jen Yeager. If you’ve been fiending for a detailed viewing of this great release (without the distraction of a swimsuit model), here it is; dubbed the ‘Leatherbacks’ for the black leather construction on the the rear portion of this shoe, this GL3 is touched with impeccable hints of aqua blue on the outsole as well as the on the border of the Asics logo, and given a nice textural contrast with suede on the toe.
