We saw a fair number of zodiac tie-ins this year with the Rabbit releases, and it looks like New Balance is getting a jump on the upcoming Year of the Dragon with this special collection of New Balance ML574’s. The inspiration here is evident, with a winding dragon graphic sliding around the upper of the sneakers. The trademark ‘N’ on the side of the shoe also puts on a bit of flavor from the mythical creature, with a subtle scaly texture. And of course our more cultured readers will notice the special tongue tag featuring the Chinese word for ‘dragon’.
