It’s not that easy to repeatedly shuffle around White, Black, and Red and create distinct colorways, but the LeBron 9 is rather conducive to that. With all these parts and sectionals that make up one large LeBron 9 upper, it’s actually quite easy to duplicate a colorway without redundancy, and the ‘Freegums’ x Nike LeBron 9 is one great example of that. It might be a bit similar to the ‘Scarface’/Home colorway, but what sets the Miami-artist designed special edition apart is that it uses intricate detailing on the white upper Hyperfuse shell and the inner-lining, designed by Freegums. Sneaker News was first to drop information on the local-artist collaboration, but now we’d like to add in some more information – a release date.
