The Zoom Kobe series has been a widely popular sneaker for college players nationwide. Even members of the UNC Tar Heels, a Jordan Branded school, still wear the Kobe V and VI during games (much to the chagrin of Michael Jordan himself). The ‘Duke’ colorway has become somewhat of a tradition for the Zoom Kobe series, relying on a story/rumor about Kobe possibly attending Duke University had he not skipped college. It’s definitely a calmer colorway than the ‘Shark’, ‘Wolf’, and Black/Volt editions we showed you earlier today, but it has that level of familiarity that we all seek when it comes to brand new sneaker designs. The ‘Duke’ colorway will release in 2012 so check out the detailed gallery below and stick with Sneaker News for more Zoom Kobe VII release information and updates.
