California skate kings Vans maintain ongoing collaborative relationships with a variety of Japanese brands, their latest another in a growing line of teamups with United Arrows’ Beauty & Youth label. The Beauty & Youth x Vans Slip-On follows a trend we’ve seen with relative frequency in 2011, one that was arguably spearheaded by similarly fashion forward Japanese designers and brands. But the use of a golden leopard print is decidedly muted when compared to some of the more outlandish wild animal looks we’ve seen this year; does this pair’s first-half 2012 release date suggest we’ll see more like this from other brands and guest designers throughout the next year?
