If you were an alien from another galaxy visiting earth for the first time, and decided the first thing you’d do instead of overthrowing the world’s governments and enslaving its population, is get yourself a comfy pair of classic runners, you might find it somewhat challenging to select from the immensely nuanced New Balance catalog. NB has managed to turn grey and navy blue into their own entire color spectrums, and will continue to sell out countless renditions of these time-tested classics for the same reason any other impeccable and well aged items move units into perpituity. The similarities have gotten even thicker with this latest release, a ‘Workwear Pack’ of New Balance ML574s that not only utilizes one grey design of at least four we’ve seen on the 574 this spring, but also releases a single day before the ‘blue collar’ edition of Burn Rubber’s ‘Workforce Pack’ of MT580s. So as you can clearly see, NB has jammed quite a bit of working class durable quality into their early 2012s, and the first half of the four Workwear 574s are available now at Premier.
