What was a concerted effort from Nike Sportswear last season has turned into something of a mystery this spring, as VacTech construction has gone from playing a major role in the holiday shopping season to now popping up without warning or a special label. These new Nike Air Force 1 Lows are like a pair that dropped around New Year’s, both opting for vacuum construction on the rear with sewn-on toecaps and heel tabs, and neither featuring the ‘VT’ distinction that labeled a huge number of VacTech builds in late 2011.
