Nike Air Max NM – White – Obsidian – Red | Available

With spring training for the MLB just about ready to start, the retro arrival of this OG colorway of Hideo Nomo’s signature sneaker seems serendipitously timed. The majority of retro releases for this silhouette have been noticeably more high-energy than what is shown here, usually cranking up the color with a hit of volt here or gold there. This pair lets the white base do the shining, slipping in some reds on the jewled side-Swoosh and along the outsole. It’s hard to imagine the Nike Air Max NM ever eclipsing the Griffey line in terms of retro-popularity, but colorways like the white/obsidian/red shown here certainly don’t hurt it’s chances in that quest.
